About

Dr. Debendra Kumar Mahalik, presently working as Professor and HOD of the Department of Business Administration, Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar engaged in Teaching and Research in the areas of Decision making and ICT application. His current area of research includes Supply Chain Management, ICT applications and Decision making. He has 6 years of industrial experience and 25 years of teaching experience. He also served as Board member in IIM sambalpur, HOD Dept of Business Administration, Dean (management), Dy Director e-governance cell ,Coordinator (executive mba program), coordinator (Distance MBA) , Coordinator Commerce,  Secretary sports council of Sambalpur University apart from other various posts like member of BOS etc. To his credit Seven (7) scholars were awarded for PhD and 11 for Mphils and 5 phd scholors are working for their thesis . He has published three Books and 60 research articles published in International and national journals to his credit. He is also Director of Ivaplus IT Solutions Pvt Ltd a statup working in the area of Edutech. His hobbies include Playing Outdoor games like footbal, cricket and Indoor Badminton and Table Tennis, with special interest in Cycyling.
